Northern Cardinal in Flight Sketch 1
Northern Cardinal in Flight Sketch 1
$30.00
This frantically flying Northern Cardinal (Cardinalis cardinalis) is fighting its reflection in your window - thinking it’s protecting its territory from other Cardinals. You can see this bird year-round foraging for seed in your native garden or at your feeders in winter. Males are a striking bright red while females are more subtle with shades of brown and light red.
4”x6” unframed. Signed original sumac drupe ink and graphite sketch on archival paper. I ethically forage natural materials and transform them into inks and paints. Keep painting out of direct sunlight. Colors may shift over time.
